About the Destination
Why Charter Canada?
Canada's coastlines offer some of the world's most dramatic and unspoiled charter experiences. British Columbia's Inside Passage is one of North America's last great wilderness areas, where orcas, humpback whales, grizzly bears, and bald eagles are everyday companions. To the east, Newfoundland's iceberg alley and Nova Scotia's dramatic tides reward the adventurous.
British Columbia's Inside Passage
The Inside Passage stretches from Vancouver north to Alaska — a protected inland sea threading between forested islands and mainland fjords. Desolation Sound Marine Park, the Broughton Archipelago, and the mystical Haida Gwaii archipelago each offer extraordinary natural beauty accessible only by water.
Haida Gwaii
Once known as the Queen Charlotte Islands, Haida Gwaii is one of the world's great untouched wilderness destinations. Ancient Haida totem poles stand in old-growth forests, and the waters surrounding the archipelago teem with marine life. The UNESCO-listed SGang Gwaay is one of Canada's most powerful sites.
Newfoundland's Iceberg Alley
Each spring, enormous icebergs drift south from Greenland past Newfoundland's rocky coastline — a truly extraordinary spectacle. The province's remote outports, rugged landscape, and extraordinary whale watching (humpbacks and orca) make this a bucket-list destination.
Weather & Climate
Canada's charter season is June to September. British Columbia offers the most reliable summer weather, with long days and temperatures of 18–24°C. Rain is possible at any time in BC's temperate rainforest. Newfoundland and Nova Scotia are best July–August when icebergs are present and temperatures are mild. Fog is common on the Atlantic coast. Always prepare for changeable conditions.
