About the Destination
Why Charter Central America?
Central America is one of yachting's great undiscovered frontiers. From the extraordinary San Blas Islands of Panama to Costa Rica's biodiversity-rich Pacific coast and Belize's world-class barrier reef, this region offers adventure, natural wonder, and genuine off-the-beaten-track experiences.
Panama's San Blas Islands
The Kuna Yala archipelago — 365 coral islands, one for each day of the year — is among the most extraordinary sailing destinations on earth. The Guna people maintain their own autonomous territory, pristine reefs surround every island, and the anchorages are spectacularly peaceful.
Costa Rica
Costa Rica's Pacific coast is a biodiversity hotspot. Humpback whales, dolphins, manta rays, sea turtles, and scarlet macaws are regularly encountered. The Osa Peninsula is one of the most biodiverse places on earth.
Belize
Belize's barrier reef — the second longest in the world — offers world-class diving and snorkelling. The Blue Hole, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is on every diver's bucket list.
Weather & Climate
The dry season (December–April) is the best time to charter in Central America. Trade winds are reliable, visibility is excellent for diving, and rainfall is minimal. The wet season (May–November) brings heavy rain and reduced visibility, though some areas remain navigable. Hurricane risk is generally lower in Central America than the northern Caribbean.
